Review : Wont work with Macintosh Computers
This is a pretty nice system. A little difficult to understand some of the instructions for things like setting the camera for motion detection and setting up a Static address on your router. The router static instruction don't work.
The main problem with this system is that it wont allow you access the cameras outside of your local Wifi range. If your in another city or state you are supposed to be able to view what your cameras see by setting up a ddns protocol. I did that but It
wont work with Mac. Ive called their support group and twice was put on hold, in India no less, for more than 45 minutes each time, I hung up both times. Their emails just repeat the same thing time after time with no solutions at all. My internet provider Frontier tells
me they wont open ports for customers and a static ip connection is extra money and expensive.
So... They cannot supply off site viewing of cameras, set up port forwarding, or a static address for Macintosh...
